iStore builds heat pump hot water systems designed and engineered for Australian conditions. Instead of generating heat directly, as a traditional electric or gas storage system does, an iStore heat pump pulls warmth from the surrounding air and uses it to heat the water in the tank. That’s the same basic principle a fridge uses, just running in reverse, and it’s why the system can cut hot water energy use by up to 70% compared to a conventional electric storage unit.
Both iStore models run on R290, a natural refrigerant with a very low global warming potential compared to older synthetic refrigerants. They’re built with weekly anti-legionella sanitising cycles and smart anti-frost logic, so the system keeps running efficiently through cooler months without you needing to think about it.

iStore 180L Heat Pump (model PASHW008-180LD-NM) is the smaller of the two, suited to households of around two to four people. It stands 1956mm high and 540mm wide, and can be installed outdoors or indoors, provided minimum airflow requirements are met.
iStore 270L Heat Pump (model PASHW015-270LD-FL02-R290) is built for larger households, generally three to six or more people, where hot water demand is higher across the day. It stands 1955mm high and 640mm wide, with the same outdoor or indoor installation flexibility as the 180L.
Both come with a 5-year warranty on the storage cylinder and a 5-year warranty on parts and labour.
